Albert F. Elberson, 63, of 706 Yale Ave., died at 1:45 a.m. today, Aug. 22, 1977, in Oliver C. Anderson Hospital.
He was an engineer for the Chicago and North Western Railroad until his retirement this year.
He was born on Nov. 24, 1914, in Shelby County, a son of Arthur Elberson of Pana and the late Euna Corley Elberson. He was married to Helen C. Blackerby March 21, 1937, in Pana. She survives.
Also surviving is a son, William Elberson of Olathe, Kan., two grandchildren, a brother, Charles Elberson of Springfield, and sisters Mrs. Donald (Fannie) Betzold and Harriett Schramme, both of Pana.
There will be no visitation. Private graveside services will be Wednesday at Woodlawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be donated to the American Cancer Society.
