Do you have a loved one at Woodlawn? Do you love local history and want to be a part of helping to preserve it? If so, please consider attending our next Board Meeting. Or you can also contact James Ashwill at the email to the left.

We hold Monthly meetings at the Chapel at Woodlawn Cemetery. The meetings begin at 6:30PM on the 3rd Wednesday of each month, excluding December.

We are a Not-For-Profit, strictly volunteer organization, with the exception of our Sexton / Groundskeeper. If you would like to volunteer your time with Voices of the Past, helping to weed-eat around the monuments, or to help us keep the cut grass off of the monuments, we are extremely grateful for any additional assistance! We have over 6,000 loved ones including many local pioneers who helped to settle this very area and the surroundings in Madison County and beyond that are interred within the majestic grounds of Woodlawn. In telling the stories of our ancestors and who they are, we honor and preserve their memories.
